Josh Kim is a freelance photographer, journalist, and author based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is currently a student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Media at Ryerson University's world renowned RTA School of Media. As a first-year student, he is currently working within Ryerson's creative services department as a photographer and content specialist.
After spending the last four years as the head content creator at his now alma mater, Josh has gained valuable experience in photography, writing, and graphic design. While specializing in sports, he has had the privilege of documenting countless high profile events, ranging from the ECHL, OHL, OUA, PWHPA, and NCAA.
In regards to journalism, Josh is currently a regular contributor and the director of photography at 49 Sportsnet, a nationally syndicated USPORTS network, while also being a staff writer with both The Hockey Writers and The Puck Authority. He has also independently released two books, providing a philosophical and realist outlook on life as a teenager.
With his laptop, phone, and camera on hand, Josh looks to continue to provide a unique and in-depth perspective on digital media in the sports community. Through his captivating storytelling abilities, technical knowledge, and experience in live events, he looks to continue to help teams and companies reach new levels of fan interaction via content creation.
